All Schools CPD and Governor Training is managed through the Schools Training channel on IslingtonCS
You can browse all available courses and request a place using your IslingtonCS account. All requests will need to be authorised by your establishment line manager before being assessed by the course organiser.
To get started, click 'training' from the main menu bar:

Finding a Course
Viewing from a mobile?
Click the 'hamburger' (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner of the screen to expand the menu.
Once you have selected your training channel, click the hamburger menu again to see the full list of training menu options, including 'My Profile and Bookings' and 'Search Events'.
My Course isn't showing
If the course you are looking for doesn't appear, please check your training level. Some courses are restricted to certain staff members depending on their level of contact with children. You can review your training level from 'edit profile' in My Profile and Bookings. If you're not sure which training level is appropriate for your role, please see www.islingtoncs.org/edit.
Your course may also not be in the Schools Training channel. Please also check the other training channels.
Booking a course
When you have found a course you are interested in, click 'Request a place' to begin the approval process. If the course is shown as full or closed, please note that you will not be able to request a place. By default, all courses will close for new bookings three working days before it is due to take place.
You will need to confirm your account details before submitting your request. Line Managers are also able to request training on behalf of their colleagues from the same form.
You will be informed by email once your request has been reviewed. Any other communication about the course will be sent by email, so please ensure your email address is up to date.
My Profile and Bookings
My Profile and Bookings is where you can review or cancel all of your pending event requests and review your historical training record. If any of the courses you attended included a certificate, you can download these from Events Attended. From My Profile and Bookings, you can also update your contact details, your training level and manage your course alerts.Line Managers will also find line manager tools here.
Cancelling a course
If you are unable to attend a course, you must cancel the booking online at least 24 hours before the course takes place.
You do this from 'cancel a booking' in My Profile and Bookings. It is not possible to cancel a course by email.
If you do not cancel the course online, you may be charged a cancellation fee.
If you have a problem on the day and are unable to attend please call 020 7527 3116 and leave a voicemail message.
It is your responsibility to follow up any courses you have booked to avoid disappointment or incurring charges.
If we need to cancel or change courses we will contact you by email, or if time does not allow this, by phone. If we have to cancel a course you will be placed on the waiting list for the next course.
After you have completed your training and the course register has been marked, you can download any applicable certificate from 'Events Attended' in My Profile and Bookings.
If the course has an online evaluation, you must complete this before the certificate becomes available.
If the course doesn't appear in your event history, the register may not yet be marked. Please allow up to 10 working days for course registers to be marked.
