The Register is split into areas of expertise and settings are encouraged to contact each setting to arrange a visit to see how they do things. The visits are focused and provide an opportunity to talk about why and how a particular aspect of practice or provision was developed.
Coronavirus Update
Settings and childminders represented on the register are now open to receiving visits in person. Each setting will have their own protocols to follow around protective measures to reduce the transmission of Covid that you will need to follow. Please contact the setting on the day to cancel a visit if you are experiencing Covid symptoms, commonly these are a high temperature, a new continuous cough and/or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.

Aberdeen Park Nursery staff have developed a range of interesting and attractive early home learning bags to further support the children’s communication, language, health and self care. The bags were developed in consultation with parents and include storytelling tins capitalizing on young children’s interest in small toys.
Remote communication and virtual home learning
Why visit?
Westbourne Early Years Centre staff have ensured that ongoing communication and home learning ideas have been provided for every child during the coronavirus pandemic. They have utilised telephone and video contact for those unable to attend the setting for periods of time, ensuring transition to school deadlines are met and children have regular opportunities to join their keyperson for enjoyable live streamed learning sessions.
How to join the register
