Tree management

By purchasing our service, we are better able to react to ad-hoc tree inspections when required and to include the school in our 24-hour emergency call out service.

Tree Inspection

Our professionally qualified and DBS checked tree officers will inspect your trees to industry best practice and British Standards. Following an initial survey, the data captured and plans are available to our clients. The position of trees will be plotted onto digitised maps using a hand-held data collection device. We will store the information in our data base Ezytreev so that a record of trees and works is maintained. The condition survey can be presented to you as a report electronically or hard copy for your records.

Tree Pruning works

The Tree Service carries out tree work using and can be routinely arranged around school holidays to reduce disturbance for your school. We can issue a tree work contract, oversee and monitor tree works ensuring that all works are completed to tree work specification, liaise with the local planning authority concerning the presence of protected trees and complete any relevant associated planning application, and oversee payments to contractors.

Development site advice and reports

Trees are a material consideration in any development endeavour and arboricultural detail is frequently required in order to achieve a successful application and avoid expensive delays or refusal. Our early involvement in the design process is crucial to ensuring that key trees are integrated into the overall vision, enabling a good quality layout and a successful transition throughout the rest of the planning process. We provide concise, accurate and succinct advice on developing amongst trees and help maximise the tree potential of a site while overcoming tree obstacles to successful development.

Subsidence Claims or Tree Root Damage

We can provide advice on reducing financial losses from root damage claims, provide legal arboricultural advice and risk management solutions.

Ecological Tree and Bat Scoping Surveys

We have experience of providing bespoke Ecological Tree surveys for both individual trees and large tree populations, and can deliver combined tree risk management surveys with ecological surveys to provide a comprehensive joint outcome. We have officers qualified to conduct Level 1 bat surveys and can provide these as part of our unique wider tree survey package. Bat surveys are a new legal requirement for arboricultural contractors and development schemes involving roofs or old trees.

Educational Assistance

The tree service has experience in providing educational assistance to schools and would be happy to help engage with your pupils by teaching about the benefits of trees in Islington or advice on careers working with trees.

We have a wealth of experience obtaining funding for tree planting and can often help with sourcing and arranging tree planting at schools with limited or no cost to the school.
